Conference 2011 - Home

 

The M4P Hub is proud to present its first conference on market systems approaches in international development, bringing together senior personnel from leading donors, practitioners and researchers who are currently taking – or seeking to take - a market systems perspective. The conference will take in Brighton, UK, on 7-9th November 2011.

About 120-140 participants are expected to attend and exchange experiences on the challenges ahead. Participants will be able to improve their understanding of current issues and ideas in market systems development, acquiring networks and contacts of likeminded practitioners.

For development agencies and the ‘field’ as a whole, the event will stimulate further interest in and momentum towards markets systems approaches.
A combination of sessions on theoretical perspectives and experiences from M4P projects will allow participants to engage in the conference’s key thematic areas and share ideas on the challenges ahead for developing market systems.
